Program Name Description
Alberta Opportunity Stream
  1. For people who are foreign workers but have a full-time job in Alberta
  2. Must have a positive LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment)
3. Must be working at an eligible occupation in Alberta at the time of applying
Alberta Express Entry Stream
  1. Applicants are nominated from a limited number of candidates who are immigrating or are refugees.
  2. They must demonstrate strong ties to Alberta and prove that they are able to cause economic developments
  3. If you are an international post-secondary graduate, you’ll be asked to apply from this stream.
It’s by invitation only and can’t be applied to
Rural Renewal Stream
  1. Brings in newcomers to rural areas of Alberta and is a community-driven program.
  2. Addresses the lack of employment and shortages in certain fields for rural places in Alberta
  3. The candidates must be nominated by the designated community
4. You must have a community support letter and shouldn’t apply without it
Graduate Entrepreneur Stream
  1. Nominates qualified international graduates from post-secondary institutions that are in Alberta and allows them to apply for permanent residence
Foreign Graduate Entrepreneur Stream 1. Similar to the last one but for foreign graduates instead of international students who graduated from an Alberta institution, it’s for foreigners who graduated 2. For people who want to start up businesses in Alberta
Farm Stream
  1. For people who have the resources and skills to manage a farm
  2. Can either establish their own farm or purchase one in Alberta
  3. Must have a proper business plan with their application
  4. Must consult to see if the business plan is feasible
Rural Entrepreneur Stream
  1. Similar to previous one but for businesses in rural areas instead of farms
  2. You can also buy an existing business in Alberta as opposed to starting your own
3. The goal is to create more jobs for Albertans

Skilled Workers
  1. Targets foreigners who have work experience in Manitoba and are working in the province when applying
  2. You must have a valid work permit and must have a long-term job offer by a Manitoba Company
3. You must apply as a temporary worker if you have a temporary work permit
International Education
  1. Provides international students a faster pathway to nomination
  2. Has 3 subbranches
  3. Applicants will receive official nomination the province of Manitoba
4. The nomination allows people to apply for permanent residence
Business Investor
  1. Allows people to be nominated and recruited by Manitoba to start up or purchase your own business in Manitoba
  2. Can either work as entrepreneur or a farm investor
3. Similar to the ones from Alberta’s entrepreneur and farm streams

Program Name Description
Express Entry Labour Market Stream
  1. Must have an active Express Entry profile
  2. Must be currently living and working in New Brunswick, a letter of employment from the employer must be included with the EOI
  3. Must be working in a position at NOC Code 0, A, or B, NOC code must be included with the EOI
  4. Must hold a valid Canadian Work Permit
  5. Must have a valid language test scores in either English or French equal to Canadian Language Benchmark Level 7 (CLB 7)
  6. Must have an Educational Credentials Assessment (ECA) showing education equivalent to a Canadian High School diploma
Entrepreneurial Stream
  1. Must purchase or start a business in which they complete management duties
2. Things are organized oversees for foreign nationals who want to immigrate to Canada
Post-Graduate Entrepreneurial Stream
  1. Must have a valid 2-year post-secondary degree in NBW and must have operated a business in BNW for at least one year
  2. Must have also studied at a NBW university or the community college
3. They must have also lived in NBW during the academic program

Skilled Worker

  2. Must have sufficient language proficiency, education, and work experience to be eligible
3. Must show proof of a valid work permit
International Graduate
  1. Must have at least half of their post-secondary education from a Canadian educational institution
  2. Must have received a job offer from an NFL and Labrador employer or are currently working in those provinces
  3. Must be eligible to receive provincial nomination as an international graduate
4. Must be working full time for an eligible employer
International Entrepreneur
  1. Provide a business plan with supporting financial documentation verified by a recognized third-party professional
  2. Have a minimum of Canadian high school diploma or equivalent foreign credential verified (must be taken in the last 5 years
  3. Must be actively managing a local business in the province
4. Demonstrate ability to create one full time job for the populace
International Graduate Entrepreneur
  1. allows for graduates of NFL post-secondary institutions to apply for permanent residence if they have at least one years’ worth of job experience in owning and managing a business in the province
  2. must provide a business plan with supporting financial documents that is verified by a 3rd party
  3. Must have completed a degree or diploma after at least 2 academic years

Program Name Description
Express Entry
  1. Designed for newcomers who have work experience in Nova Scotia
  2. Intended for people to be part of the workforce for a long time
  3. Applicants must be registered through the Federal Express Entry pool
  4. Must be eligible for one of the three following categories:
  1. Federal Skilled Worker requires candidates to have, at minimum, a high school diploma, as well as at least one year of continuous full-time, skilled work experience.
  2. Canadian Experience Class has no minimum education requirement. CEC candidates must have a minimum of one year of full-time Canadian skilled work experience. This work experience does not have to be continuous, but it must have been obtained within the three years prior to application.
  3. Federal Skilled Trades has no minimum education requirement. FST candidates must have at least 2 years of full-time work experience in a skilled trade occupation. Candidates must also have either an offer of employment to work in a skilled trade in Canada or a certificate of qualification in their skilled trade issued by a Canadian authority.
Entrepreneur Category
  1. Gives a way for business owners or managers to live in Nova Scotia
  2. Must start a new business or buy an existing one and participate in day-to-day management for a minimum of one year
3. Must demonstrate that they have enough business management experience to run a business in Nova Scotia
International Graduate Entrepreneur Category
  1. Allows recent graduates of Nova Scotia universities
  2. Must have bought and operated a business for a year to be eligible for this stream
  3. This program is by invitation only
4. Applicants must submit an Expression of Interest and only the most competitive scores will be nominated

  1. Broken into five possible streams for foreign nationals who demonstrate a collection of skills, experience and or abilities which make them ideal candidates for Ontario’s labour force
  2. Three of the five streams need people who have an Express Entry profile
  3. One is for Ontario university graduates
4. One is for people who have completed a PhD at an eligible educational institution in Ontario

Program Name Description
Skilled Worker
  1. There are three types of skilled workers, in PEI, outside Canada and Critical Workers
2. All are for foreign workers to move into PEI and join the labour force, especially for jobs that are in high demand
International graduate
  1. For recent graduates of an approved PEI post-secondary institution who are working in the province with a valid work permit
2. Must have at minimum two years of study and must have been working in PEI for at least six months

Program Name Description
International Skilled Worker
  1. Targets foreign international workers who have skills that fit the unique needs of the province’s workforce
  2. Must have an active Express Entry profile
  3. Must have at least one years’ worth of experience in an occupation
4. Must score at least 60 points on the SINP Points Assessment Grid
Saskatchewan Entrepreneur Farm
  1. A combination of two streams focusing on entrepreneurship and farms
  2. The entrepreneurship side of things is the same as every other one but for the province of Saskatchewan
