Alberta Immigration Nominee Program (AINP)

Alberta is bordered by the provinces of British Columbia to the west, Saskatchewan to the east, the Northwest Territories to the north, and the U.S. With an estimated population of more than 4,000,000 people.  Alberta has fastest growing economies because of supply and services, oil and other resource industries. Alberta has one of the best immigration opportunity policy in Canada. There are 3 immigration streams through AINP:

• Alberta Opportunity Stream

This stream give opportunity to international graduates who graduated from one of eligible universities or colleges in Alberta and foreign worker who work in eligible occupations in Alberta. Eligibility requirement for this stream can be:

  • Residency status and work permit
  • Language
  • Education
  • Work experience
  • Income level

• Alberta Express Entry Stream

For be eligible in this stream, candidates should have:

  • An active Express Entry profile in federal Express Entry pool
  • Their CRS scores be at least 300
  • Interested to live permanently in Alberta
  • Their occupation support Albert’s economic

In addition, they should have one at least on of adaptability factors such as:

  • Having job offer or work experience in Alberta
  • Graduated from eligible universities or colleges in Alberta
  • Having citizen or permanent residence close family in Alberta like parents, children or sister and brother

• Self-Employed Farmer Stream

  • This stream is for experienced farm owner or manager. To be eligible under this category, candidates should:
  • Invest at least $500,000 in farm business in Alberta
  • Have farm management skills
